What is the Spoleto Festival?
more than two weeks of music, dance, theater, opera and more - offered in theaters, churches, parks and almost any performance space available in charming Charleston!

You'll see established performers and new, young artists (Renee Fleming and YoYo Ma are among those who appeared at Spoleto early in their careers). You might even see a World Premiere - there have been many!

The focus is on new works and unusual or innovative performances.
